The concept of this is loosely based on a Persian rug I found one morning. For years I had wanted a beautiful Persian rug, but was always discouraged at the cost, or the patterns weren't ideal. Then one morning on a run, there it was on someone's lawn, begging me to take it home. It still cost a decent amount, and it had the faint odor of dog pee, but I knew it was just what I had been looking for all along.
So with this piece, I wanted to express my lesson in patience, that anything is possible at any time, you just may have to wait a bit when you want something... But eventually it will find you.
